As prescribed by the Labour Relations Act, conciliation is the first step in dealing with dispute resolutions, during which a neutral third-party Conciliator attempts to assist the relevant parties to settle the matter amongst them. Should this not be the case an arbitration will follow where both parties will present their case to a third-party Arbitrator who will provide a final ruling. This process can be challenging as it involves thorough presentation of evidence and in some cases even witness testimonies.
